Individual Supervision
Supervision Basics
-
Fitz is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Supervisor in Training (SIT). They are able to provide supervision to those seeking supervision hours towards AASECT Certification; as a SIP they are also receiving supervision from a CST-S.
Potential supervisees must be active members of AASECT, hold a license in the field they work, have received some training in sex therapy/sexual health, and are working with clients with presenting concerns in these areas. After a consultation to determine good fit, supervisees and SIT sign a contract before supervision can begin.

Between education/CEs and supervision, the certification process is costly. Our goal is to provide equity pricing to supervision as a part of increasing access to certification.
For folks in fee-for-service private practice, we charge the same rate for supervision that you charge your clients for a full-fee session.
For folks in private practice who accept insurance, we charge an average of your reimbursement rates.
For folks in CMH or other work contexts, we provide sliding scale rates that reflect your financial/employment context.

Sessions take place on Zoom/Google Meet. In-person sessions are possible in Ypsilanti, MI.
Most often frequency is 1x/month but we can explore other needs, etc.

There are many things that can impact good fit between a supervisor and supervisee. Things to consider include supervision style, theoretical orientation, values, and the populations you work with. To learn more visit About Fitz and schedule a consultation.
